Distance Measurement
Laser based distance sensors are particularly applicable for fast, high precision, non-contact distance measuring. They can be applied to e.g. positioning and collision prevention systems of building and harbor cranes. Optical distance sensors are widely utilized also for fast and accurate positioning or locating of goods on production lines. The laser beams of these sensors - Class 1 or Class 2 - are harmless for human eye.
