Elkome's customer and marketing register
GROUNDS FOR KEEPING THE REGISTER
The register maintains information obtained on the basis of the customer relationship as well as information provided by address service providers.
PURPOSE OF THE REGISTER
The purpose of the register is to maintain Elkome's customer register and to process customer orders and manage the customer relationship.
The information is processed in connection with the sale and delivery of services and products, the development of products and services, invoicing and the management and development of the customer relationship. In addition, personal information is used to organize events, advertising and marketing, and other customer communications.
The processing of personal data is based on the company's legitimate interest in developing business and customer relationships.
INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THE REGISTER
The personal register contains the following information:
- Information related to the person 's employment
- Commercial notes of the commercial cooperation between the person and Elkome
- Meetings agreed with Elkome's representative and their summaries
- Events organized by the company in which the person has registered or participated
- Prohibitions and licenses for direct marketing
REGULAR SOURCES OF INFORMATION IN THE REGISTER
The register is compiled from the company's customer information system, from the Customer himself during the customer relationship by telephone, via the Internet, by e-mail or in another similar manner from publicly available Internet sources and from databases of commercial customer information systems.
The data controller shall retain the personal data of the customers until the customer requests their deletion or the data are no longer needed for the original purpose.
DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION
The recipient and registrar of customers' personal data is the corresponding company of the Elkome Group. The registrar discloses customers' personal data to third parties when required by official measures.
Personal data will not be transferred outside the European Union unless it is necessary to ensure the technical implementation of Elkome or its partner.
The data subject's personal data will be destroyed at the request of the user, unless legislation, open invoices or collection measures prevent the data from being deleted.
PROTECTION OF THE REGISTER
Personal information stored electronically is adequately protected from outsiders by firewalls and other technical protections such as passwords.
The register will not be disclosed to third parties. Access to the register requires user rights on Elkome's internal network, and access to the material is restricted to persons who have a duty of confidentiality and whose duties include processing. The register is located on Elkome's premises and on a password-protected server.
RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT
Right of inspection and transfer
A person has the right to check what information about him or her has been stored in the customer register. The request for verification must be addressed in writing and signed to the contact person of the controller. The request for verification must be accompanied by first and last name, personal identity number, address information and telephone number. The response to the inspection request will be sent by e-mail or post.
Correction, deletion of data and opposition to processing
The data subject also has the right to ask the controller to rectify or delete his or her personal data and may refuse to process his or her personal data for direct marketing purposes. The data subject also has the right in certain situations to request a restriction on the processing of his or her personal data or otherwise object to the processing.
Right to appeal to the supervisory authority
