Protocol and Fieldbus Converters
With fieldbus converters PLC and automation systems of different manufacturers can communicate with each other. Typical application is connecting a CANopen actuator to a Profibus factory bus.
Via protocol converters different actuators and I/O units can be connected to various manufacturers' automation systems. Typical production application is a machine in EtherCAT system communicating with a process automation system in Profinet network.
